Anna Karenina by Boris Eifman at Palais des Congrès

Anna Karenina, the Boris Eifman Ballet will be staged in Paris from November 22nd to December 2nd. The choreography created by his company in 1977 aims to convey major works of world literature through the universal language of the body: dance.
The novel by Leo Tolstoy is revisited through the viewpoint of the love affair between Anna Karenina and Vronsky, with this romantic passion being the center of Boris Eifman's work.
The company of Boris Eifman was met with great success in Russia from its first performances (Two-Voice and Boomerang) in the 1970s and 80s. Today its renown has no equal. The brilliance and intelligence of the choreographic creations, the excellence of the dancers and the surprising contemporary setting are internationally recognized.
For lovers of dance and ballet, this performance is highly recommended. Also, two other stagings will be held at the Champs Elysées theater on December 3rd and 4th, 2018.
